Albert Combrink2019-01-22T14:51:13+02:00Celebrating Mozart’s birthday, the Trio de Musique will be performing 2 of his piano trios; the G major K.496, composed in 1786 (the same year his opera “Le Nozze di Figaro premiered in May) and the C major K.542, composed in 1788 (the same year he was working on his last 3 symphonies, the “Jupiter” symphony being among them). The trio will give historical background to the music, discuss the music as well as reading letters from the Mozart family as the afternoon’s program progresses.
