Wednesday 11 November 19:30 – R80 at the door

Midweek Sessions at the Church on Greenmarket Square provide a unique performance platform for some of Cape Town’s finest musicians with it’s near perfect accoustics for all genres.
For November we have two single sessions featuring two of Cape Town’s favourite ladies of song. A jazz mix with Zion Zuke on 11 November and a classical mix with Antoinette Blyth on 25 November.

Zion studied opera at UCT but decided to develop her own style of singing with jazz and broadway influences and she is rising fast! She will be opening for Freshlyground in November, and this session will be a sneak preview of what she will be performing. Joining her we have Adebola Ola on keys, Udartha Ramesar on drums and Rasool Booley on guitar.
