In a Mozart celebration, Trio de Musique will perform two piano trios; the G major K.496, composed in 1786 – the same year as Mozart’s opera “Le Nozze di Figaro”, and the C major K.542, composed in 1788 – the same year he was working on his last three symphonies, including the “Jupiter”. The trio will give historical background to the music, discuss the music as well as read letters from the Mozart family as the program progresses.
