Rotary Kromboom presents their annual outdoor concert in the beautiful gardens of Springfield Convent. The singers are renowned for their passionate and thrilling performances on local and international opera stages. Zanne Stapelberg (Soprano), Violina Angeulov (Mezzo-Soprano) and Aubrey Lodewyk (Baritone), accompanied by Albert Combrink (piano) and Jane Theron (Harp) present a programme of popular operatic favourites. The programme includes much-loved arias and ensembles from Carmen, Lakme, Rusalka, and many more. Lighter excerpts by Gershwin and extracts from Les Misérables fills out a programme designed to please varied tastes. The gardens open for picnics from 3pm and some snacks and refreshments will be on sale at the venue.
