Not your usual piano recital: Campanella – Sounding the bells with Chopin and Liszt.

In the Middle Ages it was believed that the sound of bells could disperse thunder. A large number of bell-ringers were electrocuted as a result. In France, 103 bell-ringers were killed in thunderstorms between 1753 and 1786 alone. Join pianist Albert Combrink in a much safer environment to explore music inspired by the sounds of bells.
