Auditions are being held in Cape Town for the 2013 Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival’s Choral Academy and Oratorio Festival. Choristers and soloists are needed to take part in a 6 week programme during June and July 2011, working with a different conductor and coaches on a different Oratorio each week. An international youth choir and soloists of 70 is put together annually through world-wide auditions.

Time: 11am – 5pm

Venue: Orchestral Rehearsal Room (ORR) – Artscape Theatre Centre

An Accompanist will be provided – you must bring sheet music for the pianist and the panel.

Age Limit:
Ladies: 32
Gents: 35

Albert Combrink will present a programme of Italian Arias with four young singers from the UCT Opera School at the Friends of Cape Town Opera Gala Dinner & Dance on 5 November 2010 at the Italian Club in Cape Town. Friedel Mitas, Thesele Kemane, Sunnyboy Dladla and Lynelle Kenned will present Italian songs and Arias.
