Owen Metsileng, one of South Africa’s latest export baritones, who recently made consistently ecstatic headlines throughout Europe for his spectacular portrayal of “Macbeth”, presents Mahler’s massive song-cycle, “Kindertotenlieder” based on texts by the extraordinary German poet Friedrich Rückert.
