Last Night of the Proms is a musical party originally designed as the grand finale of the summer concert series held in the Albert Hall in London. Now it’s a world-wide phenomenon and a glorious celebration which traditionally finishes with Land of Hope and Glory. Leading up to that, the Cape Town Festival Orchestra will be joined by massed choirs from all over the Western Cape and by two stunning soloists who will help to give the whole affair an Italian twist by singing opera excerpts, film music by Enio Morriconi – The Mission, the famous Slaves Chorus by Verdi, the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah and many more favourites.

> This is a very interactive concert with fun participation by the audience and everyone will go away feeling better about themselves, South Africa and life in general.  DO NOT miss this musical extravaganza under the direction of the charismatic Richard Cock.
