CT Tango Ensemble presented a Concert & Milonga at this new fabulous venue situated in a historical building in the center of Stellenbosch Drostdy Teater.
The theater welcomed those who love to listen to our music & those who love to dance to our music.
A Dance Floor was supplied by Dance Floor Hire in the middle of the auditorium and the audience sat at tables around the dance floor and not in the usual theater rows, recreating the atmosphere of a Tango venue in Buenos Aires – not in the center of Stellenbosch. Eight students from the Kim Kallie Performance Academy presented an ensemble of pieces selected to showcase their growing abilities and technique. Andre Alblas, Gabi Waynik, Anette Ekhberg, Gabi du Plessis, Gila Schulman, Kristi Lowe, Meleah Ekhberg and Carla Bernal  performed at the beautifully sophisticated HQ Restaurant and Bar, located in historic Heritage Square in the City Centre.

Saxophonist Tristan Weitkamp joins forces with guitarist Tony Cedras and percussion legend Dizu Plaatjies in a ‘Conversations without Words’ – an cultural collision of music improvisation showing how sound can bring us together.
