Bella Rosa Quartet Chamber Jam
The Bella Rosa Quartet will be performing a rotational concert on 5th April as part of First Thursdays at the Groote Kerk, 43 Adderley Street.

From 6pm to 9pm the quartet will rotate a series of 30 minute jam sessions of mixed chamber music comprising piano, voice, cello and flute featuring Albert Combrink, Louise Howlett, Pieter-Adriaan Stofberg and Sally Minter. The 2015 La Motte Classical Music Concert series ended on a high note with two Christmas concerts celebrating this special time of year with instrument, voice and scripture readings.

Finalist in the Belvedere International Singing Competition, tenor Lukhanyo Moyake joined soprano and 2nd runner-up in the World Opera Competition, Operalia, Noluvuyiso Mpofu on the stage accompanied on piano by Albert Combrink. As has become tradition on La Motte, the music was complemented by Christmas readings by Johann Nel.

Midweek Sessions at the Church on Greenmarket Square provide a unique performance platform for some of Cape Town’s finest musicians with it’s near perfect accoustics for all genres.For November we have two single sessions featuring two of Cape Town’s favourite ladies of song. A jazz mix with Zion Zuke on 11 November and a classical mix with Antoinette Blyth on 25 November.
